The Ultimate Fighting Championship has added a bout between noted strikers Anthony Pettis (pictured) and Jeremy Stephens to its upcoming October 8^th event in Houston, Texas. The UFC 136 card will be hosted by the city’s Toyota Center.

Pettis (13-2) will be looking to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to Clay Guida in June, which ended the Duke Roufus trained fighter’s four fight win streak.

Stephens (20-6) is coming off back-to-back wins over Marcus Davis and most recently Danny Downes, after losing by split decision to Melvin Guillard at UFC 119 last September.

UFC 136 will feature two title fights, as lightweight champion Frankie Edgar will battle Gray Maynard for the third time, while featherweight champion Jose Aldo will look to defend his belt versus Kenny Florian.
