Bader vs. Brilz, Kingsbury vs. Bonnar Added to UFC 139

By FCF Staff

The line-up for UFC 139 has two new light-heavyweight additions, as the promotion has announced that Ryan Bader will take on Jason Brilz and that Stephan Bonnar (pictured) will fight Kyle Kingsbury at the November card.

Although no official date or venue has been confirmed for UFC 139, the card is expected to take place November 19th at the HP Pavilion in San Jose.

Bader (12-2) will be looking to get back on track after being tapped out by Jon Jones and most recently Tito Ortiz in his last two outings.

Brilz (18-4-1) is also coming off back-to-back losses, as the veteran lost by split decision to Antonio Rogerio Nogueira last May, before getting knocked out by Vladimir Matyushenko in April.

Kingsbury (11-2) is currently riding a four fight win streak which includes 2011 wins over Ricardo Romero and most recently Fabio Maldonado, who he scored a unanimous decision over in June.

Bonnar (13-7) hasn’t fought since December when he worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Igor Pokrajac. Prior to that, at UFC 116 last July, the former “Ultimate Fighter” stopped Krzysztof Soszynski.

A heavyweight bout between champion Cain Velasquez and challenger Junior dos Santos is expected to headline the November 19th event.
