Colin ‘The Freakshow’ Fletcher Vs. Walter ‘The Sniper’ Gahadza

The Controversy. The Aftermath. The Rematch.

Colin ‘The Freakshow’ Fletcher and Walter ‘The Sniper’ Gahadza have unfinished business. At BAMMA 25: Champion Vs. Champion, Fletcher and Gahadza took each other on in a highly anticipated bout. However, at just 12 seconds into the bout, the fight was stopped with Gahadza unable to continue and the fight being ruled a disqualification. There was huge fallout from the fight, and frustration for both fighters at never knowing who would have gone on to victory. Well now it’s time to look forward as these two stalwarts of UK MMA get to settle the argument at the SSE Arena, Wembley, London on March 9th. After a year of Gahadza calling for the rematch, he finally gets his wish as he faces off against a recently reinvigorated Freakshow once more.

Lightweight Bout

Steve ‘The Spartan’ O’Keeffe Vs. Martyn ‘The Beast’ Harris

Two newcomers to BAMMA will take centre stage on the prelims as ‘The Spartan’ and ‘The Beast’ lock horns. After taking a break from competing, O’Keeffe notched up two wins on the bounce and now steps onto Europe’s biggest stage. Harris was meant to debut last year at BAMMA 31 against Josh ‘Collision’ Collins until the bout got cancelled late on, and has been eager to make his debut. With both fighters fired up and ready to go, expectations are high as these two fighters look to make a statement in the nation’s capital.

Bantamweight Bout

Dominique ‘The Black Panther’ Wooding Vs. Danny ‘The Spitfire’ Randolph

Fresh off his stunning KO of Blaine ‘O’Driscoll in Dublin late last year, Wooding is out to claim another scalp to set him on his path to title glory this year. The fighter standing in his way is Danny ‘The Spitfire’ Randolph. With both fighters coming from highly respected gyms (Team Titan & HAMMA respectively) this is a bout that is sure to have MMA fans talking. Both of these young fighters have it all to play for at the SSE Arena and neither is going to want to take a loss at this early stage in their careers.

Colin ‘The Freakshow’ Fletcher (15-9) – After having his two fight win streak unexpectedly snapped at BAMMA Newcastle in December by Anthony ‘La Masse’ Dizy, Freakshow now finds himself once more on the comeback trail. Fired up and ready to lay waste to his opponents, he steps back into the Welterweight Division once more to take on Gahadza. Fighting out of TFT / M4TC Academy/ Pain Pit, a fired up Freakshow is a dangerous Freakshow. Known for his Flamboyant entrances, the dark clown of MMA now seeks to settle this outstanding score once and for all.

Walter ‘The Sniper’ Gahadza (16-2) – The TSG Fight School standout returns once more at BAMMA London. The striking ace who trains alongside the likes of Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley excels in close quarters combat, roughing up his opponents with his dirty boxing and punishing pressure. Wanting to close the book on the fight that didn’t quite happen, Walter gets his wish at BAMMA 34.

Steve ‘The Spartan’ O’Keeffe (8-3) – O’Keeffe took a break to set up and manage his own gym Revolution Martial Arts, which thus far has produced BAMMA Featherweight Champion Daniel Crawford. Deciding to make the jump back in to competing once again in 2017, O’Keeffe won both his fights in the first round and instantly placed himself in contention for a bigger opportunity. Having faced the likes of Connor ‘The Notorious’ McGregor, Artem ‘The Russian Hammer’ Lobov and former BAMMA fighters Chris Fishgold and Jeremy Petley, O’Keeffe has a wealth of experience coming into the bout with Harris.

Martyn ‘The Beast’ Harris (4-3) – Martyn is a London based fighter out of the Masters Academy, who holds a win over current BAMMA World Welterweight Champion Alex ‘Da Kid’ Lohore at amateur level. With the majority of his wins coming via submission, ‘The Beast’ likes to employ a tricky ground game, where he likes to beat them up before taking them out. With a win over O’Keeffe, Harris expects to put himself into the mix in the Lightweight division.

Dominique ‘The Black Panther’ Wooding (4-1) – Wooding returns to his hometown after his huge win over Blaine O’Driscoll at BAMMA Dublin in November of last year. The Team Titan fighter is now starting to carve a path of destruction on his way to the top of the division. Wooding hwon plaudits from those in attendance as he took O’Driscoll to the wire, with an incredible performance in a back and forth battle that had the entire division paying attention. Wooding has claimed that the ‘Black Panther’ is the real deal and that he will not stop until he claims that title.

Danny “The Spitfire’ Randolph (2-0) – The latest prospect to emerge from the HAMMA gym in St. Helens is making his BAMMA debut at the SSE Arena on March 9th. Having beaten Amateur standout Danny Stirk in his pro debut to notch his second pro win, ‘The Spitfire’ got the call up to face Wooding in London. With an excellent all round game that HAMMA are renowned for producing, Randolph is planning on making good on his early promise and becoming both the gym’s and BAMMA’s next Bantamweight star.
