Bellator held its 124th event tonight in Plymouth, Michigan, and in the main event, Emanuel Newton defended his light-heavyweight title, by stopping Joey Beltran with a third round, spinning backfist.

With the victory, Newton improved his overall record to 24-7-1 and extended his win streak to 6. Beltran’s record now stands at 15-11.
