Following the withdrawal of Marcos Galvao from Bellator 150 tomorrow night, Eduardo Dantas was so eager to fight, he called on any bantamgweight to face him in Mulvane, Kansas.

Dantas was supposed to face the bantamweight champ in Friday’s headliner, but due to illness, Galvao wasn’t cleared to fight. In response to the news, the former champ issued a statement to MMA Fighting.com that said:

“I don’t know what happened with ‘Loro’, I don’t know how he’s feeling right now, and I won’t blame him for it. I just want to fight for the title,” Dantas stated. “Therefore, I volunteer to fight Friday, on Feb. 26, for an interim belt, against any bantamweight in Bellator or other promotion, if the promotion signs them…”

Bellator 150 is proceeding with a heavyweight bout between Cheick Kongo and Vinicius Queiroz as the new headliner.

Dantas fought Galvao in 2013 and won the bout via knockout.
