Benson Henderson returned to the win column tonight at Bellator 160, but the decorated fighter did so under unfortunate circumstances.

Henderson faced former featherweight champ Patricio “Pitbull” Freire in a lightweight contest, but in round two, the latter waved off the bout due to what appeared to be a foot injury.

The bout marked the first time Henderson was fighting since he was decisioned by Andrey Koreshkov in April. That fight was the former UFC lightweight champ’s Bellator debut.

Here are the main card results for Bellator 160, which took place in Anaheim, California.

Benson Henderson def. Patricio “Pitbull” Freire via TKO (injury) R2, 2:26

Derek Anderson def. Saad Awad via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)

Georgi Karakhanyan def. Bubba Jenkins via KO (punches) R1, 0:53

AJ McKee def. Cody Walker via submission (guillotine) R2, 0:32

Chinzo Machida def. Marlo Navarro via TKO (punches) R1,  2:57
