After Paul Daley reportedly had a difficult weight cut on Thursday, Bellator has announced the fighter is no longer fighting today in Uncasville, Connecticut.

The British fighter was booked to face Derek Anderson tonight, after he came in at 171 pounds for the welterweight fight yesterday. But, in a follow up report from MMA Fighting.com, Bellator President Scott Coker confirmed Daley will no longer fight as a result of having a “difficult weight cut”.

Daley, who has had issues making weight previously, is coming off a decision loss to Douglas Lima.

Bellator 163 will be headlined by a light-heavyweight fight between champion Liam McGeary and Phil Davis.
