Bellator 57: Welterweight and Middleweight Tourney Finals Green Lit

While many throughout the MMA world will be tuning into FOX tonight to watch the UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez fight Junior dos Santos, the Bellator 57 card that will air on MTV 2 also has several compelling bouts.

In the finals of the promotion’s current welterweight tourney, UFC veteran Ben Saunders will take on former Maximum Fighting Championship champion Douglas Lima.

In addition, feared striker Alexander Shlemenko has once again worked his way to the finals of Bellator’s middleweight competition, and will take on Wand Fight Team’s Vitor Vianna.

Tonight’s Bellator 57 will take place in Rama, Ontario, and will also feature vets like Doug Evans and Chris Horodecki. The card’s preliminary bouts will be streamed live on Spike.com.
