It looks as though Bobby Lashley won’t be fighting for a different promotion anytime soon, as Bellator has announced that it has signed the heavyweight to a long term contract extension.

The 38 year-old Lashley (12-2) has gone 2-0 since he arrived in Bellator last year, and most recently in October, he stopped Karl Etherington in the first round.

“I’ve had two fights with Bellator, and I’m happy to be calling the promotion my home,” Lashley said in a press release from the promotion.  “Scott Coker and the company have really reignited my desire to fight and I’m looking forward to a huge year with some dominant wins.”

No financial details regarding the decorated wrestler’s contract were provided.
