Bellator Bound Ryan Ford Fighting Dave Hulett at Sept. 16th Aggression MMA

By FCF Staff

Ryan Ford will compete one more time for Edmonton based promotion Aggression MMA before the welterweight is expected to fight for Bellator. The 29 year-old fighter (pictured) will take on fellow vet Dave Hulett at Aggression’s upcoming September 16th card in Edmonton.

FCF has confirmed the bout with the promotion’s President Harvey Panesar after Top MMA News reported the fight earlier.

Ford (16-3) will head into the September 16th clash having won four straight fights, which includes a stoppage win over UFC vet Karo Parisyan in May. Most recently, Ford scored a TKO win over Nick Hinchliffe in June.

In July, it was announced that Ford had signed with Bellator, however, his debut with the promotion has yet to be confirmed. There have been reports that the Canadian could make his Bellator debut in October.

Hulett (17-9) is coming off a submission win over Dan Keefe, while competing for Combat Zone in June, after being tapped out by Ryan Machan at a Pure Fighting Championship card in May. The Vegas fighter is 3-2 in his last five fights.

The September 16th, Aggression MMA card will be hosted by Edmonton’s Shaw Conference Centre.
