Bellator Confirms Eduardo Dantas Injury, Brandon Halsey vs. Rafael Carvalho New Headliner
After it was reported earlier that Eduardo Dantos has withdrawn from Bellator 144 on October 23rd, the promotion has confirmed his rematch with bantamweight champ Marcos Galvao is off.
In a follow up announcement, Bellator has relayed that Dantas has incurred a rib injury in training camp. No possible timeline for his return was included.
As a result, the scheduled bout between Brandon Halsey and Rafael Carvalho for the vacant middleweight title is the new headliner.
