Bellator has announced that it’s returning to Canada for its 119th card, which will take place May 9th, at the Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario.

The event will feature the finals for Bellator’s upcoming heavyweight tourney, as well as Canadian vet John Alessio, against an opponent to be determined.

Alessio (34-17) will be competing for the first time since Bellator 101 in September, when he lost by unanimous decision to Will Brooks.

The Season 10, heavyweight tourney’s competitors include Alexander Volkov, Mark Holata, Peter Graham, “Mighty Mo” Siliga, Ryan Martinez, Lavar Johnson, Rich Hale and Blagoi Ivanov.

Bellator’s reigning heavyweight champion, Vitaly Minakov, will fight UFC vet Cheick Kongo on April 4th.
