Following an in crowd, altercation between Paul Daley and Michael Page at Bellator 179, it sounds like the welterweights will be booked to battle in the cage.
After Daley was submitted by Rory MacDonald on Friday, the feared slugger reportedly confronted Page who was in attendance, cage side. A scuffle ensued and footage of the incident has been making the rounds.
Bellator President Scott Coker was asked about the possibility of Daley – Page getting booked, and the promoter said this (quote via Bloody Elbow.com):
“I think that’s the fight people want to see,” Coker said. “I think it’s a fight that both those guys want to see. If they want to throw down, we’ll put it together.”
“If they both tell me that they want to do it, then we’re going to do it.”
Coker went on to add that the fight between the British strikers would likely take place in London, England.
