Ben Askren Says Dana White is Lying About Random Drug Testing
UFC President Responds By Saying Bellator Champ “Most Boring Fighter in MMA History”

Bellator Welterweight Champion Ben Askren and UFC President Dana White exchanged heated ‘tweets’ Monday morning, after Askren accused White of making untrue statements regarding random drug testing.
After this weekend’s UFC on FUEL TV event in Stockholm, Sweden, White reportedly said that having his organization implement a random drug testing policy for UFC fighters would be “impossible.” The promotion’s president apparently credited the drug testing regiment that is already in place before citing the logistic difficulties that would ensue as a result of random testing.
This morning, the former Olympic wrestler Askren commented on White’s statements by tweeting:
The USOC random tests Olympic athletes in all sports. Dana saying testing his fighters would be impossible is a bold faced lie.
When informed of Askren’s comment, White did not respond directly to the fighter’s accusation directly but instead stated:
@benaskren when ambien can’t sleep it takes Ben Askren. The most boring fighter in MMA history. I would rather watch flys f—k
The undefeated Askren then followed up by tweeting:
@danawhite glad you know my name now. Before I was just the bushy haired wrestler.
The issue of random drug testing has once again been brought to the forefront after Alistair Overeem allegedly tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone, and as a result, his scheduled May 26th bout with UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos remains in doubt.
Asken (10-0) is coming off a unanimous decision win over challenger Douglas Lima on April 6th, which marked the sixth time in a row that the renowned wrestler has gone to a decision.
