Robert Whittaker, Colin Fletcher, Brad Scott and Alloway Collect Season Awards

Benny Alloway capped off his TUF “Smashes” season in dramatic fashion last night in Queensland, Australia, as the welterweight knocked out Manny Rodriguez with a highlight reel kick and earned “Knockout of the Night” for his efforts.

The Australian fighter collected an additional $40,000 for that award, as well as another $25,000, for his participation in the TUF “Smashes” “Fight of the Season”. Alloway’s opponent in that bout, Brad Scott, also received an extra $25,000.

“Fight of the Night”, for last night’s card went to light-heavyweights Nick Penner and Cody Donovan, which saw the latter win the bout by TKO late into the first round. Each man also collected an extra $40,000.

Robert Whittaker, who defeated Scott by unanimous decision last night to win the TUF “Smashes” welterweight competition, earned “knockout of the season’ and $25,000. Whittaker record two TKO wins during the competition.

Colin Fletcher, who lost by UD to Norman Parke in the lightweight finals, earned “submission of the season” honors.
