Benson Henderson Compares Conor McGregor – UFC Rift to Parent Spoiling Child

The MMA world continues to discuss and debate what’s unfolded between the UFC and Conor McGregor this week, and now Benson Henderson has weighed in on the headline making development.
Earlier this week Dana White announced that McGregor will no longer fighter Nate Diaz at UFC 200, not long after the Irish star tweeted he is retiring. According to White, McGregor has been pulled from the card because he refused to attend mandatory, promotional appearances.
Recently Henderson spoke with MMA Fighting.com, and when the former UFC champ was asked for his thoughts on the situation, “Smooth” said this:
“If you raise your children a certain way, they’re going to act a certain way,” Henderson said. “If you allow them to get away with certain things when they get older, they’re going to act a certain way. It’s what happened. Conor McGregor is acting a certain way because he was allowed to for much of his.”
Henderson is scheduled to fight reigning Bellator welterweight champ Andrey Koreshkov at Bellator 153 tomorrow night.
