Bobby Green vs. Isaac Vallie-Flagg, Andreas Spang vs. Keith Berry Added to Challengers 20
By FCF Staff
Strikeforce continues to round out the line-up for its upcoming, November 18th, Challengers card, as the promotion has announced that former KOTC lightweight champ Bobby Green will take on Isaac Vallie-Flagg and Andreas Spang will fight Strikeforce vet Keith Berry.
Green (16-5) is coming off a second round, submission win over Charon Spain in September, after dropping a tightly contested split decision to Gesias “JZ” Cavalcante at a Strikeforce event in July.
Vallie-Flagg (12-3-1) has gone undefeated in his last ten fights, and is coming off a split decision win over Brian Melancon, at Strikeforce’s “Overeem vs. Werdum” event in June.
Berry (10-8) will be looking to end a three fight losing streak, which includes losses to Trevor Smith, and more recently Gian Villante under the Strikeforce banner.
In Spang’s (6-1) last outing he tapped out Cody Crahn with a first round, guillotine choke, while competing at the Maximum Fighting Championship’s 30th event in June. Spang’s only career loss to date took place in April, when he was submitted by Ali Mokdad at MFC 29.
The upcoming November 18th Challengers card will be hosted by the Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, and will feature a light-heavyweight bout between Antwain Britt and Lumumba Sayers in the main event.
The card will be broadcast on Showtime.
