Lesnar and Heyman (right)

By FCF Staff

Brock Lesnar has done a  few interviews since it was announced he’s returning to the UFC next month and will fight Mark Hunt, July 9th, but recently he sat down with his longtime, business associate, Paul Heyman.

During the interview the former heavyweight champ outlined why he’s decided to return to MMA, and repeated that his fighting career was heavily impacted by his battle with diverticulitis. Following Lesnar’s stoppage loss to Alistair Overeem in 2011, he announced he was retiring from MMA.

Lesnar also revealed in the interview that he reached out to Dana White about coming back to the UFC, not vice-versa. The 38 year-old also reported that a training camp is being built for him, and that he’ll be working with his previous MMA coach, Marty Morgan, once again.

You can watch the interview below.
