After being flagged for banned substances this past summer, following UFC 200, Brock Lesnar has been suspended and fined by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Lesnar fought his way to a decision win over Mark Hunt at the July 9th event, but then it was reported the pro-wrestling star had tested positive for the anti-estrogenic agent Hydroxy-clomiphene. MMA Fighting is reporting today that Lesnar has been suspended for one year and fined $250,000 by the Nevada Commission as a result.

The fine amounts to 10% of the $2.5 million dollars that was disclosed to the NSAC as Lesnar’s purse for UFC 200.

The 39 year-old fighter will be eligible to compete again in MMA next July.
