The UFC has announced that a fight between Demian Maia and Carlos Condit has been moved from UFC 202 to UFC on FOX 21.

Originally the welterweight contenders were booked to fight on August 20th, but recently the promotion announced that Condit – Maia will no take place on August 27th. On that night UFC on FOX 21 will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Maia (23-6) is coming off a submission win over Matt Brown in May, and has won five straight.

Condit (30-9), meanwhile, hasn’t fought since January when he dropped a split decision to champion Robbie Lawler.  Condit is currently ranked #5 in the 170 division and Maia is positioned at #3.

The fight will headline UFC on FOX 21, which will also feature a featherweight bout between Anthony Pettis and Charles Oliveira.
