CES MMA 32 took place in Lincoln, Rhode Island on Friday, and in the main event, Chris Curtis took the welterweight title from Gil Freitas.

Curtis floored Freitas early on with a left hook to the body, and then prompted the tap-out with follow up punches.

With the win, Curtis improved his record to 13-4. Freitas, who had won five straight, saw his fall to 18-6.
