CFA 12 Results and Highlights: Evans-Smith Stops Fox, Sampo Defends Belt

Championship Fighting Alliance held it’s 12th event last night in Coral Gables, Florida, and in the main event, flyweight champ Joshua Sampo defended his title by handing Sam Thao a unanimous decision loss.

In two other title fights, Valdir Araujo tapped out Romario Manoel da Silva to win the vacant welterweight belt, and Yoisdenis Cedeno defeated Torrance Taylor by split decision to win the vacant lightweight title.

CFA 12 also featured the finals of the women’s featherweight tournament, and Ashlee Evans-Smith stopped Fallon Fox in round three to win the competition.
