Score Fighting Series has added one of Ontario’s most established fighters to its October 19th card in Sarnia, as it’s announced that WEC and Bellator vet Chris Horodecki will battle veteran Kalvin Hackney.

The featherweight fight will headline the upcoming SFS card, which will be broadcast live on the Score and AXS TV.

Horodecki (18-4) will be looking to rebound from a knockout loss he suffered versus Mike Richman at Bellator 64 in April, which followed a draw he scored against Mike Corey at Bellator 57 in November.

Since exiting from the WEC in 2010, the 24 year-old Horodecki has gone 2-1-1.

“Hackney is coming to my backyard and he’ll be looking for the win, but I’m not going to let that happen,” Horodecki was quoted saying in a press release from the promotion. “He’s going to be a tough opponent. He’s athletic and strong and comes forward with a very aggressive style. But I’m ready for whatever he’s got.”

Hackney (12-3) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Booker Arthur in June while fighting for Element Fighting Championship.

Prior to the win Hackney went 0-2 under the Bellator banner, incurring losses to Rene Nazare and E.J. Brooks. The Louisiana fighter had won six straight before signing with Bellator.

Other main card bouts that have been confirmed for the event include John Fraser vs. Tyler Toner, Jesse Gross vs. Seiji Sugiman-Marangos and Lyndon Whitlock vs. Rick Glenn.
