Although Team Alpha Members like Joseph Benavidez and Lance Palmer continue to be on good terms with TJ Dillashaw, and have even trained with him, the same cannot be said for Cody Garbrandt.

Since Dillashaw announced he was headed to Colorado to train with the Elevation Fight Team last fall, TAM leader Urijah Faber, has banned the former bantamweight champ from training with the camp moving. Faber, as well as Garbrandt, has also traded verbal shots with Dillashaw through the media.

Recently Garbrandt appeared on Submission Radio, and the noted striker made it clear that he still has unresolved issues with Dillashaw. Here is some of what Garbrandt had to say (quote via MMA Fighting.com):

“TJ, that motherf**ker tried to take some of our teammates you know…If our team ain’t good enough for you motherf**ker then get the f**k out. Don’t be trying to take our team, take our training partners if you don’t believe our team is good. That sh*t pisses me off man. That’s some f**ked up sh*t.”

Garbrandt, who is scheduled to fight Thomas Almeida at UFC Fight Night 88 on May 29th, also that he plans to have some “words” with Dillashaw next time he sees him. The latter is not currently booked for a bout.
