Cody Garbrandt Reports He’s “Feeling a Lot Better”, Has Return Date Targeted
By FCF Staff
Cody Garbrandt has yet to compete in 2017, but the UFC bantamweight champ has a card targeted for his first title defense.
“No Love” hasn’t fought since last December, when he earned a decision win over Dominick Cruz to become the 135 champ. Garbrandt was booked to fight former champ TJ Dillashaw at UFC 213 last month, but a back injury forced him to withdraw.
Recently, however, Garbrandt told MMA Fighting that he’s “feeling a lot better”. When asked when he hopes to return to the cage, Garbrandt texted “I want MSG’.
The UFC is holding a card at Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 7th.
