(Updated) Conor McGregor Tweets He’s “Decided to Retire Young”

Chances are most people don’t actually think Conor McGregor has decided to walk away from fighting, but a tweet the featherweight champ made recently, is raising eyebrows throughout MMA.
On Tuesday, the following tweet was posted via McGregor’s official Twitter account:
I have decided to retire young.
Thanks for the cheese.

McGregor is coming off a submission loss to Nate Diaz last month, and the outspoken fighter has been booked for a July 9th rematch with the latter. The welterweight bout will headline UFC 200.
Update: According to follow up tweets from MMA Fighting.com’s Ariel Helwani, multiple sources have told him that McGregor’s tweet above is not a hoax. No additional information regarding the situation is available as this is being posted.
