Conor McGregor Wants a “True Fight” Next

Conor McGregor

By FCF Staff

Manny Pacquiao recently claimed his team has reached out to Conor McGregor’s about the possibility of the two boxing, but it looks like the UFC’s lightweight champ intends to return to the Octagon next.

Since McGregor was stopped by undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather in August, there’s been rampant speculation as to when and who the Irish star will fight next. Recently TMZ caught up with McGregor in New York City, and when asked about facing Pacquiao, the  fighter said “I think a true fight is what I want to do next.”

When asked a follow up, McGregor stated “MMA next”, before making it clear he’s not interested in performing for the WWE.

The 29 year-old McGregor hasn’t competed in a MMA bout since November, 2016, when he took out Eddie Alvarez to become the UFC’s lightweight champion.
