Cris “Cyborg” Justino is reporting that her plans to move to bantamweight are on track, but the Invicta featherweight champ has called for a catchweight bout with UFC champ Ronda Rousey one more time.

Justino is scheduled to defend her Invicta FC title on July 10th against an opponent to be determined. After that, the Brazilian is expected to drop down to 135 later in the year, with the hopes of securing a fight with Rousey down the road.

“Cyborg” appeared on the latest edition of “UFC Tonight”, and while she reported she’s working with a nutritionist and intends to fight Rousey at 135, she also stated (quote via FOX Sports press release):

“All fighters want to be a champ in the UFC. I think for now it’d be great to see me and Ronda fight. I don’t want her belt. I just want to fight her. Let’s go fight. Let’s go meet at 140. Let’s do it.”

UFC officials have repeatedly stated that a bout between “Cyborg” and Rousey would have to take place at 135 pounds. Currently the promotion does not feature a women’s featherweight division.

Justino (13-1) is coming off a first round, stoppage win over Charmaine Tweet at Invicta FC 11 in February.
