After months of speculation as to if and when Cris “Cyborg” Justino would return to 135, Invicta FC has announced she will make her bantamweight debut for the promotion on December 5th.

News of “Cyborg’s” pending drop from featherweight was relayed by a special edition of “The UFC Minute.” Justino’s opponent has not been confirmed, however, and the location for Invicta FC 10 also hasn’t been announced.

“Cyborg” has talked about returning to bantamweight for some time, and has said the move is the first step in lining up a fight with UFC champ Ronda Rousey.

The 12-1 fighter laid claim to Invicta FC’s featherweight title last July, by stopping Marloes Coenen in the fourth round.

“Cyborg’s” last bout took place in March, when she was decisioned by Lion Fight champ Jorina Baars in a kickboxing match.
