Dan Henderson and Lyoto Machida Top UFC 157 Payroll
Ronda Rousey Earned Nearly Six Figures For Historic Win

The California State Athletic Commission has released the salary figures for the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s recent, February 23rd event in Anaheim, and decorated vets Lyoto Machida and Dan Henderson led the way.
According to the CSAC numbers, the former UFC light-heavyweight champ Machida earned $200,000 for his split decision win over Henderson, while the former Strikeforce and PRIDE champ made $250,000.
UFC women’s bantamweight chamo Ronda Rousey, meanwhile, collected $90,000 (including a $45,000 win bonus) for the first round, submission win over Liz Carmouche. The challenger earned $12,000 for the main event bout.
Here are the salary figures that were disclosed to the CSAC by the UFC, and do not include any additional bonuses like pay-per-view dividends or performance awards a fighter may have collected (figures via MMA Junkie). The payroll for the event totaled $1,173,050.
