Following a story on Tuesday which reported that the UFC is in advanced negotiations to sell the promotion for upwards of $3 billion dollars, Dana White is denying that’s the case.

Yesterday ESPN.com ran a story citing sources, which informed the outlet that at least four companies were in talks with the UFC to acquire the company. The reported stated that the winning bid for the promotion was expected to be in the $3.5 to $4 billion dollar range.

In a follow up report from the as Las Vegas Review Journal, however, White said the story is in accurate, and that the “UFC is not for sale.”

UFC 198 is scheduled to take place this Saturday in Curitiba, Brazil.
