Ronda Rousey asked for more time off earlier this year, but UFC President Dana White is reporting that the former bantamweight champ still intends to fight before the year is out.

Prior to Rousey’s KO defeat to Holly Holm in November, the star said she didn’t plan to fight again until summer, 2016. But, following the loss, Rousey informed the UFC that she needed more time off.

Recently White spoke with TMZ Sports, and he relayed Rousey has told him she wants to fight by the end of the year. White said a bout in November or December is likely.

The 29 year-old Judoka had won 12 straight fights before facing Holm.
