Since Michael Bisping laid claim to the middleweight’s title at UFC 199, many fans have been calling for the promotion to book a rematch with Dan Henderson, and it looks like that’s going to happen.

Bisping shocked the MMA world last month, by knocking out Luke Rockhold in the opening round. Since the stunning bout, there’s been talk about Bisping facing several opponents, including Chris Weidman, Georges St-Pierre, Rockhold again, “Jacare” Souza and Henderson.

The British star was viciously KO’d by Henderson in 2009, and Bisping has repeatedly said he wants to avenge that defeat. During the post UFC 200 show on FOX Sports 1, Dana White reported the following (quote via FOX Sports press release):

“We’re working on Bisping vs. Dan Henderson, hopefully in Manchester, England, but that’s not signed yet.”

Henderson, meanwhile, knocked out Hector Lombard at UFC 199, and has also called for a title fight with Bisping.
