There’s been a lot of talk recently about the possibility of a mega-fight between Conor McGregor and Georges St-Pierre, but Dana White says it’s not going to happen.

Since it was announced that St-Pierre had been diagnosed with colitis, and that he was vacating the UFC’s middleweight title, speculation about the possibility of him fighting McGregor at some point has spiked. But, while talking to ESPN recently, the UFC President White said this:

“He ain’t fighting Conor McGregor,” White said. “If he wants to come back, [UFC welterweight champion] Tyron Woodley or [middleweight champion] Robert Whittaker is waiting for him. They’re both waiting, if Georges wants to come back.”

White also told the outlet that he doesn’t believe St-Pierre wants to fight again, and that he believes the star “jumped in, grabbed some cash and went back to Canada.”

After St-Pierre vacated the middleweight title, the Canadian star said he was looking “forward” to working with the UFC to determine what’s next for him.
