Dana White Says Jessica Andrade Will Face Joanna Jedrzejczyk Next
By FCF Staff
Jessica Andrade recorded her third straight victory at 115 pounds on Saturday night, and it sounds like the Brazilian has locked up a fight with the champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk as a result.
Andrade faced Angela Hill at UFC Fight Night 104, and out struck the latter to win a clear cut, decision win. The victory follows Andrade’s wins over Joanne Calderwood and Jessica Penne, since she was defeated by bantamweight, Raquel Pennington.
White was reportedly asked if Andrade will face Jedrzejczyk next, while speaking to FOX Sports, and the UFC President stated (quote via Bloody Elbow):
“Absolutely (Andrade is next),” White said. “When you see the way she fought tonight, just imagine those two squaring off and the absolute war that will be. That’s gonna be a fun fight.”
Jedrzejczyk’s last bout took place in November, and she earned a decision win over Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
