Dana White: UFC Staff Told Him Uriah Hall Doesn’t Take “Training Serious”

As Uriah Hall continues to recover from medical issues he encountered, while trying to make weight for UFC FN 124, Dana White says staff at the Performance Institute, have criticized the middleweight’s training habits.

Hall was scheduled to fight Vitor Belfort in the co-main event of Sunday’s card, which was hosted by St. Louis. The noted striker reportedly feinted before he could weigh-in, however, and Hall was hospitalized for the evening.

Following UFC FN 124, White was asked about Hall, and the incident. The UFC President said that Hall had been released from hospital, but in addition, White said this (quote via MMA Junkie):

“The guys at the UFC (Performance Institute) said he’s the, what’s the word – he doesn’t take it serious,” White said. “He doesn’t take his training serious, he doesn’t do what anybody tells him. He does his own thing. A week before the fight, he went to L.A. and was hanging out in L.A. in clubs and stuff. So, not good.”

As this is being written, Hall hasn’t publicly commented on his recent withdrawal from UFC FN 124, or the claims outlined above.
