Daniel Cormier – Jon Jones II Official For UFC 200

As expected would be the case, the UFC has confirmed that Daniel Cormier – Jon Jones II has been rebooked for UFC 200 on July 9th.
The light-heavyweights were scheduled to fight at UFC 197 last weekend, but a leg injury forced the champ Daniel Cormier to withdraw. Jones fought replacement Ovince Saint Preux and won the bout via unanimous decision.
Jones hurt his foot in the bout, but evidently it was not serious enough to prevent booking the rematch’for July 9th. Jones and Cormier fought for the first time in January, 2015, and the latter lost via UD.
