Al Iaquinta made it pretty clear he wasn’t happy with the fact he didn’t receive a bonus at UFC Fight Night 108, and Daniel Cormier is backing up the lightweight.

Iaquinta put away Diego Sanchez in the opening round at the event, and after he didn’t receive a fight night bonus, the outspoken fighter told the UFC off on Twitter. On the latest “UFC Tonight”, Cormier was asked to weigh-in on the situation, and the light-heavyweight champ had this to say (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release):

“He came back after two years off, and not only did he beat the legend, Diego Sanchez, he smashed him. Who puts Diego out like that? Was he mad he didn’t get the bonus? Of course. They should have given it to him.”

Since the event, Iaquinta has once again criticized the UFC for how much they’re paying him, and the New York fighter also fired away at Dana White, for comments the latter made following UFC 208.
