On the eve of Ronda Rousey’s latest title defense, EA Sports has announced that the bantamweight champion is the cover athlete for the video game UFC 2.

Rousey becomes the first woman to be the cover athlete for a video game tied to the UFC. The new game, which will come out next spring, will also allow players to create female fighters for the first time.

“EA Sports is a cultural barometer to know what’s going on in sports at the moment,” Rousey was quoted saying in the official announcement. “As a gamer myself, it’s pretty surreal to be on the cover of the game and to have a woman on the cover of a UFC game shows a lot of progress. I’m really happy to be involved with it.”

The star is scheduled to take on Holly Holm tomorrow at UFC 193, which will take place in Melbourne, Australia.
