Eddie Alvarez Wants “Mega-Fight” With UFC Deal Nearing Completion

Following Eddie Alvarez’s electrifying, KO win over Justin Gaethje last weekend, he’s calling for a “mega-fight”, as his current UFC deal nears completion.
Alvarez took Gaethje out with a booming knee to the head, in the third round of their UFC 218 slugfest. Since then, the former UFC and Bellator lightweight champ appeared on 93.3 WMMR in Philadelphia, and Alvarez reported the following (quote via MMA Junkie):
“I actually have one fight left with the UFC,” Alvarez said. “I’ve finished all my fights, and I have one fight left in my contract. It’s time to sit down with the boss man and talk about long-term, talk about how we’re going to do this thing and what big, mega-fight we can have coming up.”
“I’m the most violent man in the UFC,” Alvarez said. “They can take the No. 1, 2 and 3 (ranking). I’ll just take that title, and I’ll keep it. I’ve been crowned. …
With the win on Saturday, Alvarez moved his UFC record to 4-2, with 1 no-contest.
