UFC bantamweight prospect, Erik ’El Goyito’ Perez, has recently signed a new six- fight contract with the UFC according to his management team VFD Sports.

The 23 year old Mexican fighter signed a lucrative contract, putting him towards the top of the bantamweight pay scale,

“With the signing of this historic deal ’Goyito’ has become one of the highest-paid bantamweights in the promotion, earning $18,000 to show and another $18,000 to win bonus (not including fight night awards) for his upcoming bout on April 27.  His show and win money will see significant increases after every successful Octagon outing.”

Perez (13-4) is riding an eight fight win streak with all but two coming by way of stoppage. Out of his four losses he has only been finished once, by armbar, in 2010.

”I’m very proud to fight in the UFC,” said Perez. ”My goal is to become a champion, and I will work extremely hard in the gym and inside the Octagon to reach it.”

Perez is currently unbeaten in the UFC defeating Byron Bloodworth, Ken Stone and John Albert all by first round stoppage.

His first fight is scheduled to be at UFC 159 on April 27 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
