ESPN Broadcaster Jon Anik Joining UFC Broadcast Team

By FCF Staff

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has made a new addition to its broadcasting team, as today the promotion has announced that veteran broadcaster Jon Anik is leaving ESPN to begin working with the company.

Anik, who hosted ESPN 2’s “MMA Live” program, will reportedly call the live “Ultimate Fighter” bouts and TUF Finales, which will commence on FX next year as part of the UFC’s new broadcasting agreement with FOX Sports.

The 33 year-old is also expected to assume other broadcasting duties tied to FOX Sport’s UFC programming.

In August, the UFC and FOX announced a new seven year, broadcasting agreement, which will see various MMA content and programming air on various FOX channels, including FX, FUEL, and FOX itself.
