What makes this tournament Semi-Pro?
The tournament winners get half of the registration, continuation and sponsorship money and prizes designated for their division.

What makes Endgame Submission Grappling Special?
No Points, No Decisions, No Judges, No Sandbagging. Stalling will get you nowhere. If you want to win get the submission.

What if time runs out and no one has been submitted?
If a match goes the distance without a winner, it is declared a draw. Competitors who have drawn can continue at the current level by purchasing one time only optional continuation (for any level other than finals). Get the finish if you want to advance. Check out the rules for more details.

Where and how much does it cost to compete or to spectate?
(Remember half of all registration and continuation fees go to the tournament winners)
Registration $50 for competitors & $10 for spectators
Optional Continuation in case of draw $20

Battle Ground Brings MMA Back to Chicago!

Battle Ground Entertainment is entering the ever growing number of promotions in mixed martial arts, and they’re doing it in a big way. Their inaugural show, War Cry, will be held in the 5,500-seat Odeum Sports Arena in Chicago on Saturday, July 19th at 7 p.m.

This will be the first mixed martial arts contest approved by the state of Illinois and the first MMA event in Chicago since 1996. Sanctioned by the ISKA, War Cry will be full mixed martial arts rules in a boxing ring. The card currently stands at nine action-packed bouts featuring several UFC veterans from across the country, as well as many up and coming fighters.

The current card (subject to change) is:

It will be Canada vs. Arizona, when former UFC Welterweight Champion, 6X UFC veteran and 6X Pride veteran, Carlos Newton brings 2 of his top fighters from Canada to face Arizona’s elite in Rage in the Cage 51 on Saturday Aug 2nd. Carlos Newton will be bringing two of his top "Warrior MMA" fighters: Wojtek "Voitek the Destroyer" Kaszowski and Carlos Bizier (who replaces Tim Gyarmati who suffered a training injury).

Rage in the Cage has a lot of momentum coming off a fantastic show in Tucson on July 12 with Don "The Predator" Frye in attendance.

This upcoming spectacular card should be a real treat for MMA fans. Get your tickets early for best seat selection and to avoid being shut out.
