As expected, the heavyweight bout between upcoming TUF Brazil coaches Fabricio Werdum and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will take place June 8th at UFC on FUEL TV 10.
The promotion confirmed the fight’s date on the latest edition of UFC Tonight.
UFC on FUEL TV 10 will be hosted by the Ginasio Paulo Sarasate in Fortaleza, Brazil.
Werdum (16-5-1) hasn’t fought since UFC 147 last June when he stopped Mike Russow in the opening round.
Nogueira (34-7-1), meanwhile, is coming off a submission win over Dave Herman at UFC 153 in October.
The latest UFC Tonight episode also reportedly announced that Chris Leben (22-9) will take on middleweight Andrew Craig (8-1) at UFC 162, which will be hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on July 6th.
A welterweight bout between Seth Baczynski (18-9) and Brian Melancon (6-2) has also been added to the card.
UFC 162 will feature a middleweight bout between champion Anderson Silva and challenger Chris Weidman.
