The bout will be part of DREAM’s upcoming July 16^th “Japan: GP Final” at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan.

Fickett (41-14) recently had his five fight win streak ended at Maximum Fighting Championship 30 on June 10^th, as the well travelled fighter was stopped by Brian Cobb in the first round.

Kawajiri (27-7-2) will also be looking to rebound from a first round, stoppage loss, as the Japanese veteran was overwhelmed by Strikeforce Lightweight Champion Gilbert Melendez on April 9^th, after earning a decision win over Josh Thomson in December.

DREAM has also confirmed that UFC and Strikeforce veteran Trevor Prangley will meet light-heavyweight Tatsuya Mizuno on July 16^th.

Prangley (23-7-1) is coming off a first round, submission loss to Roger Gracie in January, after working his way to a split decision victory over Keith Sharine at Shark Fights 13 in September.

Mizuno (8-7) is coming off  back-to-back losses to Gegard Mousasi and more recently Sergei Kharitonov, who knocked out the Pancrase vet with a knee on New Year’s Eve.
