M-1 Global has confirmed the final line-up for the promotion’s M-1 Challenge XXVIII event that will take place tomorrow, November 12th, in Astrakhan, Russia. The event will feature the brother of former Pride champion Fedor Emelianenko, Alexander Emelianenko, taking on heavyweight Magomed Malikov in the main event.

The promotion managed to put together a new headliner on less than two weeks notice, after welterweight champion Shamil Zavurov was forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout with Rashid Magomedov.

Emelianenko (17-4) is competing for the first time since last October, when he was stopped by Peter Graham, to end the veteran’s six fight win streak.

Malikov (6-1) is coming off a tournament victory in July, which saw him score wins over Yuri Gorbenko and Bellator vet Alexey Oleinik, while competing for Fight Star.

Here is the finalized line-up for M-1 Challenge XXVIII. The event’s main card will be available via on line pay-per-view through ustream.tv and the preliminary card will be streamed live on Facebook.
