Firas Zahabi Reporting Georges St-Pierre “Looked Awesome” in First Day Back Training
By FCF Staff
Recently UFC President Dana White relayed that Georges St-Pierre had received the go ahead from his doctors to begin training, and now the former champ’s coach has reported the first day went well.
St-Pierre’s longtime coach, Tristar’s Firas Zahabi, tweeted on Monday:

Nearly a year has gone by now since St-Pierre announced he was taking a break from the sport, after he decisioned Johny Hendricks at UFC 167.
The 33 year-old injured his knee not long after, and has been sideline for much of 2014 as a result.
St-Pierre has yet to confirm whether he will return to the UFC; however, White has already offered the welterweight star a title shot if he does.
