Francis Ngannou Calls Out Stipe Miocic
By FCF Staff
After failing to lock up a fight with Alistair Overeem, Francis Ngannou has now turned his sights to UFC heavyweight champ, Stipe Miocic.
Ngannou was supposed to battle Junior dos Santos at UFC 215, September 9th. But, the latter was flagged for a potential doping violation, and has been pulled from the card.
Since then, Ngannou challenged Alistair Overeem to a bout at the September 9th card, but more recently, the rising heavyweight tweeted out the following comments:
Alistair said his foot is still injured and can't fight as soon ! so I don't have a replacement for #UFC215

Miocic’s management has said that the fighter will remain on the sidelines, until the UFC offers him a new contract.
