Full Contact Fighter’s “The Daily Takedown:” Liz Carmouche’s Keys to Victory Against Ronda Rousey
By Joshua Molina
Ronda Rousey has arrived. Dana White says she’s bigger than Brock Lesnar. Can Liz Carmouche shock the world?
It’s possible, but not likely. But here’s how Carmouche can pull off the miracle.
Watch the Muhammad Ali vs. George Foreman fight. Get on your bicycle. Do not rush Rousey. Run, dodge and weave as long as you can.
Tire Rousey out. Get Ronda into the second round. When Rousey charges, put your back against the cage. Kick, kick, kick
Even if the fans boo, turn it into a boring fight. Get Rousey into the third round. Make Rousey punch
Counter punch. Try to cut Rousey off.
Aim for her eyes with your jabs. Get Rousey into the fourth round.
By now Rousey, would be tired. Let your punches fly. Use your Muay Thai and knee her in the gut. Knock her out
Above all else, stay on your feet. If you get taken down, fight like a wild animal to get back up.
Once the fight goes to the ground, it’s over.. And Rousey will be the winner, by armbar submission.
