One of GLORY’s top American kickboxers has been booked for the promotion’s February 6th card, as the company has announced that Joe Schilling will battle Canada’s Robert Thomas at the event.

The middleweight fight will co-headline GLORY 19, which will be hosted by the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia.

Schilling (18-6) is returning to GLORY for the first time since last June, when he was decisioned by Artem Levin in the finals of a middleweight tourney. Since then, Schilling has competed for Bellator in October, as the noted striker knocked out Melvin Manhoef in October. According to a report from Sherdog.com, Schilling recently signed a new, multi-fight deal with GLORY.

Thomas (7-2), meanwhile, is coming off a knockout win over Mike Lemaire at GLORY 18 in October.

GLORY has also announced that Murthel Groenhart will no longer fight Nieky Holzken in the semifinals of the February 6th, welterweight tourney. Instead, Aleksandr Stetcurenko (49-8-0) will face the #1 ranked, welterweight contender. The reason for Groenhart’s withdrawal was not provided.

Raymond Daniels (25-1-0) is scheduled to fight Jonatan Oliveira (20-3) in the other semi.

GLORY 19 will feature a heavyweight fight between champion Rico Verhoeven and Errol Zimmerman in the main event. The main card will be broadcast on SPIKE.
